  1. After Dark™ version 1.1c Updater
  2.  
  3. This program will update After Dark version 1.0 and 1.1 to version 1.1c.
  4.  
  5. To use this program, choose “Update File...” from the “File” menu.  Use the dialog box to select the copy of After Dark you wish to update.
  6.  
  7. DO NOT UPDATE THE AFTER DARK MASTER DISK!
  8.  
  9. After you have selected a  file, the Updater program will update the file and display a dialog showing the status of the update.

  11. When the update is finished, you will have After Dark version 1.1c.  If you are updating a copy of After Dark in the System Folder, restart your machine before using After Dark.

  13. If the updater encounters an error with the file you are updating, throw it away and make a copy of the After Dark program on the Master Disk.

  15. To install the new modules, copy them into the "After Dark Files" folder.  The new Logo module will delete the old version of Logo and any pictures that are in it.  Make sure to save any graphics or artwork you have added to Logo in the Scrapbook or an application file first.

  23. 1) In 1.0, if you dropped After Dark into System Folder and opened its control panel without rebooting, a dialog would appear,  but the system would crash when it was dismissed.  Fixed.

  25. 2) <Return> and <Enter> didn't work in the "Initialize" dialog.  Fixed.

  27. 3) Color cursors would show through.  Fixed.

  29. 4) Would sometimes crash if there was no After Dark Files folder around.  Fixed.

  31. 5) Did not fall asleep after set time with certain fax software.  Fixed.

  33. 6) Certain Red Ryder dialog boxes would cause After Dark to hang.  Fixed.

  35. 7) Herky-jerky motion under MultiFinder and QuicKeys 1.2, DiskTop Init, Tempo II, or Stepping Out II.  Fixed.

  37. 8) Sometimes the system would slow to a crawl if the mouse was left in the sleep corner during wakeup.  Fixed.

  39. 9) The slider-panel buttons were either drawn the full width of the Control Panel or not at all, when running on the IIci.  Fixed.

  41. 10) PageMaker would print blank pages if After Dark woke up in the middle of a print job.  Fixed.

  43. 11) Would hang if SAM or Capture were used while After Dark was running.  Fixed.

  45. 12) Standard cmd-shift-3 screen shots can be used.

  47. 13) Can now use Capture 2.0 to get After Dark screen shots.

  51. 1) Logo module rewritten to use less memory and be more robust.
